The housing shortage is one of the biggest challenges of our time. Hundreds of thousands of people are waiting for an affordable home, including first-time home-seekers who are forced to live with their parents for longer, families who do not have a suitable home and older people who would like to move to different housing but cannot. In order to address the shortage and build to meet the growing demand, we need 100,000 homes per year over the long term.
